Ok, so this really seems trivial, but it has become quite an annoyance as of late. I often bum around on forums and the such, and read like 15 threads at once as I'm sure many of you do, so I just open the ones I want to read in a new window as I don't have to keep hitting back. But sometimes the new window opens in a small square on the corner of the screen or takes up only half the screen, or I guess changes its demensions according to whatever it had last time or something, how do I make it so that it opens to a maximized screen? I really get sick of having to maximize every thread that I read. Thanks, your help is appreciated.

no, it doesnt seem too, I know i had a window that i closed that was half screen earlier in the day, now all the new screens open half screen nomatter how i close them. A friend said that you should hold ctrl while closing all the windows and whatever the last window you close is, if they are all closed, thats the size they will open in, but that doesnt seem to work for me *shrug*

I believe XP remembers the last size you had one open. If it really bugs you, right click on the icon you use to launch IE and for "Run" choose the maximized window" option. Then all new windows launched will take up the entire screen. I dunno how you like your config, but I run mine at normal and then adjust them (when I am forced to suffer XP that is ;))
