Nascar is driven counter clockwise.............. would it screw the drivers up if they had to drive clockwise? :Q

 I was thinking the same thing the other day. They've been having night races lately, I've always wanted them to shut off all the lights for an added degree of difficulty.

Yes--because the cars are designed to go counterclockwise, and the drivers are used to doing that.

Let me clarify
"Yes, driving clockwise would be screwy for the drivers because the cars are designed to go counterclockwise, and the drivers are used to doing that."

Of course, some older drivers celebrate a win with a Polish victory lap.

Now ? ? ? Nascar started racing there in 1957, four years before the F1 got there. The main reason for CCW is because they plan to have the right side of the car hit the wall rather than the left side.
