Q: Are we allowed to talk about torrents here in ATOT?

Since I can't find a definitive answer in the ATOT threads, nor Forum Issues; I was curious to know what the consensus was on torrent discussion here. 😕

IMO, they are legal, but the **AA will tell you otherwise and might sue. You don't have the resources to fight for your rights in court.

It seems that threads that deal with TV torrents, like the top gear threads that pop up every year are ok. However, I think I've seen threads that speak about illegal software downloads set new records for fastest lock.

I don't really know what the issue with them is, especially after they've aired. It's not like the person would be seeing the commercials which pay for them then anyway... I could see this being a problem a year ago when they were being released from satellite wildfeeds (prior to network distribution and airing with commercials).
