Hi!

Can someone tell me if this statement is correct for a ASUS A7A266-E motherboard:

"Do take note that if you're using an unlocked AthlonXP, the multiplier adjustment will have no effect. "

This was taken from ocworkbench.com

If it is true (why wouldn't it?), why is it so? If I unlock an AMD XP and put it in, why wouldn't it be possible? Why????

Seems like a typo but why not go to the source? Ask the question there on the Forum where the folks that do the testing can answer you directly. Just a thought. 🙂
