It's useful if the web page contain other image files. If it's just a simple table, then there is no need to use the extension.
The webpage references company logos and css that are stored on the web server. They could move those and it wouldn't look as pretty. I'm going to check it out because I'm sure I'll have to update the look and feel one day.

It says it will save css files as well. Save a web page then disconnect internet to see if company logo, images & css files are all retained and display correctly locally.


SingleFile is an extension that helps you to save a complete page (with CSS, images, fonts, frames, etc.) as a single HTML file.
 
For getting SQL data and creating an excel file and then emailing it out, can very easily be accomplished in c# with ado.net. We have about 50 daily reports which are run this way.
