It's part of the whole "cool" typo fad. It's funny as hell to watch people try to PRONOUNCE the typos lol. 😀
 
I never understood how common typos could be "cool"

pwned and teh are typos. Typos are not "7331."

Usually they just play some happy song like that one when they want to piss you off. It works most of the time. Personally I just mute people when they don't stfu/stop playing music.
 
I think I'd feel like an asshat saying "pwned" or such out loud. I generally reserve pwned for extreme situations like humiliating defeats in UT2k4 deathmatch. I go 25-0 or 30-0 for example, you can bet you'll hear: omgwtfpwned
 
If I found out that I pronounced typo words in a retarded fashion or that I was teaching my boss "1337-5p3@k," I'd probably have to kill myself.
