Pwr & Internet outage sucks!

Here in the northwest part of Washington state we had some wind that resulted in the loss of a bunch of seti production.
All is pretty much back to normal now, but it sure sucked being cold & dark etc...

Went thru that last weekend Luckily(i guess) it only lasted about 3 hours.

Running a DC project makes you acutely aware of power outages, but I swear things are much worse than say 20 years ago or so. For the past 5 years I've had a couple major outages per year and a dozen minor outages per year. The last major outage was planned and was part of local grid maintenance/upgrade, hopefully that will put an end to all those annoying minor outages.

Prior to this I swear I only remember two or three outages over the past 30 years or so...

Or maybe it's just old-timers disease

I had a planned outage at work two weeks ago. Lost 6 crunchers for two days (Sat & Sun). Should get bigger UPS's LOL!!!!

I remember the great flood. It tooks us forever to dry out the tender to get our fires started again.

Now that was a power outage.

Then there was this guy who had all of these animals ... but that is another story. lol

We lost over a week of production here with the hurricane, but at least we were warm.
