Yeah, but what's weird is that I can't skip forward with WMP10.

yeah, i hate that

i can do so with moonlight, but i cant get it in fullscreen

Hmm...I actually get the same problem with Moonlight MPEG player as well. Press Alt-Enter for Fullscreen.

Played perfectly fine here, smooth playback & the quality was almost as good as the original TS file.

A Place in the Sun - video plays but no audio for me as well.
You CAN skip in MPC and WMP10, it just takes a couple seconds to play where you clicked on the timeline.

oh, yeah, and Horry clip was smooth as expected.

Is there a better way to play this file than with QuickTime 7 Beta for Windows?

I ask because I can watch the 1080P trailers from Quicktime.com without a problem, but I get stuttering with your clips. I'm using a X2 4400+ @ 2.7GHz.

If cable and satellite companies could do this compression on the fly, we could have a LOT more available HD channels.
Maybe the compression wouldn't be quite so high in order to get better quality, but this has potential. This could eliminate them all together, and stream hd content over the net.
All we need is the hardware to encode this in real time :)
