you can tell it's fake from that 'invisible' wall that the shadow is being cast on evenly

You can tell you don't know what you're talking about because that's the flash. At least if you're going to call the picture photoshopped, pick something that actually looks wrong about it.

if the picture is taken from below the subject how does the shadow end up under him?

Because the flash is mounted above the lens.

in order for the shadow to be cast under the guy... wouldn't that mean the flash has to be higher then the subject?

No. Am I going to have to draw a diagram?

Yes. Use that flash doodling thingy posted earlier.

he is right. The shadow does not have a "kink" in it where the wall has a corner. You should eb able to see it.

I dissagree. I do believe that you CAN see a slight kick in the shadow. Looks real enough to me.

besides, its not like it matters in any way shape or form.

Look at his leg on the right...why, if the wall was as far away from him as it is(which you can see from the location of the couch) would the shadow his his left leg not be distorted?

It does have a slight kink and colour difference, but if you look at how far away his shadow is from him, his right foot would have to be about an inch from the wall, and he'd have to be about 2 inches from the back wall. It's so obviously photochopped it isn't even funny.

since u like to be such a smartass... then sure, draw a diagram.

the shadow around the guy is too strong. it was obviously taken right next to some wall and photochopped in.
look at the shadow from the TV antenna. it's light and diffuse, and it is closer to the wall than the kicker is.

pwn3d.

just thought i'd chime in for the moron who knows all.

it's extremely obvious it's chopped, no crap the flash is above the lens, but it's not two feet above it.

there's also a difference in lighting, the room is rich with lighting but the guys pants are flat, like it was a fill light or something, not a dead-on flash.

it's obviously cut out, i don't know if the shadow is his or if it's added with the simple "drop shadow" layer effect.

plus what kind of moron would do a flying sidekick in his living room right towards the wall, or where he can slip and bust his ass on the carpet.

It's photoshoped. Notfred = pwned.

Everything you said before this point was solid. 😉

Fun for the photographically challnged.

Gee, look, the pictures I took with my camera... the shadow from my hand isn't creased on the wall. Oh, and look, my hand is much brighter than the surroundings.. kinda like the guy's pants.

The shadow isn't distorted because the flash is so damn close to the lens.

Check this out. It's me about to b!tch slap that ah heck. You can tell I'm gonna hit him too cause our shadows look very similar in depth.

PWNED!

You like to argue, for the sake of arguing. At least if you're going to argue about the picture being real, pick something that actually looks real about it.

Ah, I see, so you're calling me a liar because you don't know how a camera works?

How about the fact that based on pixel measurements, if this guy were to stand, he'd nearly bump his head on the ceiling.

So that's either one really small room, or one really tall Asian guy ... well, guess it's gotta be a small room. 😛
