Ok first of all wheres the location of the pwmic. And second how do you cool it. I heard its close to the cpu, but my heatsink is pretty big, and i don't know if theres anyway of cooling it. What does it look like atleast.

Any pictures of it would be great.

google for the location its kinda near the ram/cpu area. clean up your wires.. you probably aren't getting any airflow over it my pwmic is 41@ 100% cpu load encoding dvd for an hour

My case is really clean, but i did find the pwmic its that little yellow part to the right of the cpu. I need to somehow mount another fan next to the heatsink to get a little better airflow. Since the heatsink and fan is directly over the pwmic its causing a dead spot for no air to travel.

Yeah just for kicks, i took my little can of compressed air and lightly sprayed towards the pwmic, and the temp went down from 57 to 47. The only way i can cool it thought would be to stick a 80mm fan which i happen to have and ghetto rig it inbetween my wire harness and the heatsink. It will be an extremely close fit, but i think i can pull it off, but not until i'm done running prime95 of course 🙂
