PuzzleQuest Owns me

I have a bunch of great unfinished games and a bunch of good mp games(crackdown, halo3, orange box, R6:V, Skate) and really all I played this weekend was puzzlequest.

I only got 3 hours of sleep last night which leads to my conclusion.

PuzzleQuest is the devil.

I'm in the same boat as you, only its Feeding Frenzy instead of Puzzle Quest.

It's really good. I had to stop playing when I started getting "retina burn in" from the gem screen. Best $15 I've spent on an Xbox game in a while. Awesome deal considering it's improved from the handheld console versions and only costs half as much.

What's improved over the handheld? That game rocked on the psp.

I never played earlier versions but from what I've read, bug fixes and balance adjustments.

I never played the earlier versions either but I assume multiplayer over xbla is a good addition.

Sounds cool, this game is on xbox? or xbox360? I might have to look into it 😉

Xbox 360. It is an Xbox Live Arcade game.

Isnt is basically bejeweled?

Yeah basically except that you and your opponent have life totals and first to 0 dies. There are red, green, yellow, and blue gems for mana, skull gems that do damage, coin gems for gold, and xp gems and you have spells. oh and armor and stuff to improve your stats.

I hope you're happy. Because of your post, I played the demo and then spent 1200 of the 4000 points I had reserved for (hopefully cheaper) GH or Rock Band DLC on Puzzle Quest. You're just lucky it's excellent.

haha I'm glad you like it.

heh.. i tried the trial and didn't care for it. I didn't realize that it was just going to be bejeweled throughout. It was fun for a short time but I got bored after a while... the trial was the perfect length though to enjoy the game for a little bit before I got tired of it... so I didn't spend any credits to find out I didn't want it 🙂

I got it the other night and enjoy it much more than bejeweled considering there's actually strategy to this one.
Too bad I've got all these other games to play!

Yes it's a lot of fun, but unfortunately I have a ton of games on my plate at the moment, including Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess (still haven't finished it 🙁 ), Titan Quest, and a slew of PS2 games (DQ 8, FF12, etc.)

Too many games, not enough time 🙁

Heh, I hear ya. I still have DQ8 and SotC shrink wrapped. I am about 50 hours into FF12 but I haven't picked it up for a while. I have DS games waiting too.

Doh! You just reminded me that I am about half way done with SotC... need to finish that too!

Anyone else convinced that the computer cheats itself a bunch of combos and +5 skulls?

Really? I haven't played it much myself because I am afraid it will take my life away from me for a week. It did that to my friend. He did say it was easy until the last boss.
Forging items is hard though. It still looks like a blast. I can't believe how complete it is, maps, rpg elements, decent music, etc.
