All right. I got me a Althlon XP 1700 on an Epox 8kha+. I have it o/c to 1540 on a 280 FSB. Now I was wondering how i can boost it up to 1600. I have been trying to but I cant seem to figure out the right settings. Anyone know? Any pointers on how? Is it the fact that the hardware is limited? I can get it there, but it will never pass boot. It gives you this odd blue screen mid boot.

Try lowering your RAM timings, try using CAS3 or even CAS2.5 and see if that allows you to boot. Also, try upping the voltage to your CPU and RAM, by default I run my RAM at 2.7V even when I'm at stock speeds.

It might just be that your components can't take a higher bus speed. Try running it at the 1900+ default multiplier (12X), on a 133MHz FSB (266DDR), and see what happens. You will probably need to unlock the multiplier. Do a search or visit www.tomshardware.com for a good guide on how to do that (at your own risk). :)
