Putting in an A64 CPU into the socket?

Is the little gold triangle supposed to be on the opposite end of the level? That seems to be the only way I can fit it in so that all 3 corners go into the socket...any other combo will only let 3 corners go into it?

Need a quick answer please ;)

One corner of the processor will be missing a pin. One corner of the socket will have will have an extra slot blocked off. Just match the two. The triangles suposed to point toward the corner with less pins too I think. I spread the stuff with a cc. unless you have an exposed core shouldn't be a big deal rotating it.

Arctic silver says to rotate it slightly.

AKA engage the socket clamps and just turn it the slightest bit that you can either way, once.

I used the dab and didn't bother rotating it, my HSF was already locked in place, I wasn't going to run any risks by trying to rotate it.

I still got great temps.

For some reason, the directions that came with the CPU stated that you should put pin1 (triangle) closest to the end of the lever, while in reality on my mobo it should have been diagonally away from the lever.
