yeah no kidding
i dont want to read thru that lol
whoever will be able to help u will know what to tell u by lookin at the components...no need for descriptions ;)

out of the few things i noticed while scrolling down, looks pretty good

probably should have gone for a 1700+ JIUHB DLT3C cpu, or 2500+ if you wanted barton, cuz i dontthink theres much headroom left in terms of overall speed. But you can always adjust mult to get a 400mhz fsb.

Ditch the XP3000 and get a Barton XP2500, it overclocks past XP3000 easily. If you were really intending on getting the XP3000, I would DITCH AN AMD SOLUTION completely because a good i865+P4 2.6C combo overclocked will slap around an XP3200 cpu. I would recommend changing the cpu/board/hsf to this:

Pentium 4 2.6C $215 or 2.8C for $240 if you're wallet allows
Abit IS7 intel 865 board - $99 (awesome board!)
SLK900 + 92mm fan of your choice (smart fan II is a popular choice)

Yup, if you're going to spend big bucks, go with Intel. AMD is great if you have a skinny wallet (like me :)).

agreed!

if you got the money, get intel!

considering you're willing to pay for a 3000+, you might as well get a 2.6C or 2.8C and a abit IS7-G
