I yesterday took all of my hardware out of my old case, put it into my new case(antec 1080AMG), installed a new heatsink(Zalman 7000A Al-CU, set up a raid array(two WD 80gig SE drives), and reinstalled windows xpo pro. Now, my computer seems to move slower and freeze up. Before this, I had never even gotten a BSOD and now I got one today. The comp seems to freeze up a lot and its not spyware, as I ran adaware and its not that. Any ideas?

Run it on a single drive and see how it runs.

What are case/cpu temps? What other componentsare in there, what fans for cooling, what are room temperatures, and what psu are you using.

Single drive? Why? and the case temp is 26C, cpu is 27-28C idle, and 29C/36C load. Zalman 7000A Al-cu, raeon 9800(stock heatsink), 1 gig of pc3200 ram....p4c800 deluxe....room temps are around 74F, and antec truepower430, as its an antec 1080amg case.

Just a change in case should have no effect unless something is being grouded out.

Need to look at what has changed:

Connections between components. Maybe something isnt sitting right after the move. Reseat everything.

Power Supply. You said you are now using the power supply that came with the case. Antec make a good unit, but anyone can let a lemon slip thru and get shipped. Test the machine with the original PSU.

Anything else change?

Kay, reseated ram, vid card, sound card. haven't tested with orginal PSU, but this PSU voltages seem great and everything.... and like I said, I reinstalled windows with a raid array.
