Spent $28 dollar for full tank of gas in my car

Went up to Arcadia to pick up someone, went down to Torrence to Lexus Headquarters to talk to them about the March 23/24 event. I drove to California Speedways to go over the plans for this weekend and then drove back to Arcadia to drop my friend off...

Dang, 270 miles.... $16...sheesh

But we accomplished quite a bit today

i forgot to mention...it was NOISEY AS HELL! I took out the backseat of my car and put subs there....no padding...so annoying...

I have to upload pics of my ghetto ride...

Well, I did get good gas milage today...I was averaging only 12 miles / gallon last week cuz kept stomping on my slow-poke car\

edit: forgot to mention...because of today's driving, I now am firmly committed to not put any noise makers (whether intake, exhaust, or whatnot to make noise cuz it gets annoying after 1 hour)...hate the noise...

Also, I begin to appreciate luxury cars for easiness of driving long distance...I was thinking of sports car, but after driving this much today, Dang

i but 800+ miles om my car on saturday. and i drive a 92 tempo with 92K miles on it. and on ensday im gonna put 1000 more miles on it
 
800 miles? You were driving all day? Yes, I drove 25 hours before to Dallas, TX for total of 1,5xx miles....

But the thing was today, I get out meet people, drive, get out, drive...not a 1 stop shot

Oh well, just a rant

Not many have pulled off the 1000 mile blitz from NY to TN (plus getting lost somehwere along the way)...in one day. It was a full 20 hour drive, with no breaks, only pump and go gas stops. Didn't drink anything, so didn't have to pee.

Drove it in a Dodge Caravan...the car of the masses.
 
yea i just pulled the 800 from PA to St louis and its eaisily 1000 from St louis back to my house in NY. like 11 hours here 17 back really not lookin forward to it but its gotsto be done

Now, I'm just neffing and ranting cuz I gotta write invoices to all the vendors who are coming...

So, instead of showering and getting crackin on writing invoices, I'm just venting on AT (somewhat)

Would you be mad if I told you that I could do that on $4 of gas? $5 if I'm doing 80-100MPH on the interstate. Interstates are cool. 🙂

I was supposed to drive 350mi today, but the weather is really crappy and they cancelled.
 
I drive about 500 miles everytime i want to go home for school breaks.... and then 500 back...
 
I used to do 800 miles from VT to home in RI a couple years ago. Took me ~12 hours. Man that's boring. Thank god I only have to drive 300 miles to get from Cornell to RI now. MUCH easier.
 
270 miles isn't that long for a long day. I used to do 100 miles/day in commuting between school and work. I'm down to about 50 now.

...and I've done 282 miles in 3 hours flat once (w/ a gas stop) 🙂
