Push FSB to 100MHz on a Celeron533?

Celeron 533 (not A).

Is there any risk of frying the processor if I try to set the FSB to 100MHz? The chance of getting it upto 100MHz is none, but if I try will it crash forever or can it run after that?
How high risk do I take?

I'd like to get a CHEAP 533A instead, but here in Sweden they are too expensive right now...

If you can monitor your temps somehow, and have decent cooling, give it a shot. You'll know right away if it's go no go. be prepared to run it at the 75MHz bus:(

Get some decent cooling and check to see if the temps are ok. If it crashes then you know its not stable.

You'll be lucky to get a FSB of 75 or so. The Celeron 533's (which means it's a celeron based on the medencino... I believe), max out at about 600 mhz. You'll be lucky even if you get that high with your 533. You might want to try getting a 366 celeron, and overclocking it to 550 (100mhzFSB).
It will run much faster because of the improved FSB.
