i would have saved a copy, but i didn't think it would get deleted so quickly (it was deleted as i was replying)

apparently LoKe has a copy somehwere, but he may have been assassinated in the process of saving/posting

Shens. He's still online. I'd like to post my copy, but unfortunately Notepad is having a bitsch of a time letting me use find and replace (The coder in me saved only the source).

Once when I was banned I remained logged in for 5 days until I had to reboot. I couldn't post but I had my buddy list up, could send and receive PM's and even voted in polls haha. So it's quite possible he still appears online but is banned.
 
did he ever reply to my port forward q? i figured it out myself btw, but i'm still havin a hell of a time tryin to get that doggone pap2 unlocked.

I saved McBain's thread but can't figure out how to open it...so I am glad the someone else was able to do it. I am in a ticked off mood anyway. I started my FIRST ever thread...even did a search on the topic BEFORE I posted the new thread. Put a poll on it and everything. Feeling pretty darn pleased. While I was editing my post (to add the poll), someone else posted a reply to my original post. It was a link to a similar thread started by someone else. The member called it something different so my search didn't pick up on his thread. Meanwhile, I am typing a response apologzing and indicating to go easy on me since it WAS my first ever thread and I HAD DONE a search for that topic before posting. I couldn't get it posted. The thread I made was deleted.

Wondering why, I went to the FAQ page of AT. This is what it states:

A thread that is deleted immediately is either 1) Because it is offensive, or 2) There is a similar locked thread existing in the forum.

So...since the topic definately wasn't offensive (it was on daylight savings time) or vulgar, I went back to the thread that someone posted for me to see. That thread isn't locked. So who knows what gives...

Yeah...I know.../rant../moan and groan.../get over it.../grow up.../etc.../blah.../blah

Still disappointing to someone who is "new" to this. (Despite my sign-up date...I had 2 posts until this past week. Surprised my account didn't get deleted for non-use.) 🙁
