I received a purple core 900 T-Bird yesterday, and was wondering if anyone else has one? It is doing very well on my KT7 at 1075MHz. ( 950 multiplier/FSB 112/37 +1 = 113 ) Ram is running at 150MHz CAS2. I ran Prime95 Torture Test with the 3DMark2000 demo looping at the same time for hours with no crashes, and all apps & games run well.

The Sandra 2001 Pro benchmarks are very good :)

I guess it is an aluminum interconnect with purple polish, or has anyone heard of any purple copper interconnect cores? I have seen a similar color on Durons, but not on any T-Birds till now. LMK if anyone else has one, and how high you have overclocked it.

My duron had a purle color to it, it seemed blue at first. How did you get your ram up at 150mhz? Doesn't it do host clk + pci speed? And host clk is always 100.

jsbush, With a 113 FSB set, Host CLK is 113 (112/37 + 1 = 113), add a PCI CLK of 37 = the RAM at 150MHz (RAM at Host CLK + PCI CLK = 137 + 13 = 150MHz)

Thanks Renob, voltage is at 1.85, I/O at 3.50

EDIT: Renob, do you have a blue core 750 T-Bird? 1102MHz is pretty damn good. :)
