Pure Michigan - Lake St. Clair

May Fly or Canadian Soldiers. Very common around the Great Lakes. LOL at the little fuckers comments 🙂.

Lake St. Clair is where my aunt and uncle used to live... my uncles father, who just passed, made the BEST Musky lures known to man

Anyone ever been in the area when they're doing their thing? They coat the roads in a thick goo that is slippery to drive on. They flock to wherever there are lights and coat buildings, roads, whatever. We call them fish flies because wherever they're at has a real strong odor of fish.

Yeah, liked the little fuckers comment. That's why I posted it. Had me fooled up to that point.

I lived in Michigan for 21 years, never really found the flies to be that bad.

Went to Cedar Point Amusement park in Ohio multiple times, only to be smacked in the face with swarms of those damn things on coaster's every hill...
