Lots of impulse-bought groceries, a lot of which I never touch until they're expired

EDIT : Also Dragon Age : Origins, The Witcher, plenty of DVDs, alcohol at pricey bars/restaurants.

oomph. that's a big one for me.

I couldn't tell you the number of times that I went out, stocked my fridge with meat for dinner, cold cuts for lunch, milk for breakfast, fruits/veggies... and then I'll end up spending the entire week at my boyfriend's eating takeout. /facepalm

'76 Volkswagon Rabbit. Damn thing rusted out after about 2 years of use. Loved the lime green color though 🙂

1) Netbook
2) "vandalism" insurance for the car when I was in college
3) RAID card for only two HDDs
4) Atom ION motherboard, that only plays DVDs in the living room
5) Purchased two semesters of college textbooks on a credit card with no active employment
6) PowerDVD 8 software, when there are many OSS for dvd/blu-ray playback
7) 10 games on Steam that I've played for 30 minutes or less and never played them again

$300 Sony DVD-Burner drive for my new pc back in 2003. I was so excited about it and ended up using it at most 5 times.

Damn xbox.

I had convinced myself that it would be a great 'toy' but ended up getting a nice computer and I haven't turned the xbox on in two months.

I think I should sell it but it looks so peaceful there, on top of my receiver.

I'll agree with that. I've had mine die on me three times, and this final time they told me it was out of warranty.

This set?

I bought the same thing last week at a brick-and-mortar store for ~$25. I remember when it was first released it was somewhere around $80, I think (Edit: looking through Amazon's reviews, looks like it was closer to $100). I too haven't unpacked it - my excuse is I'm currently traveling and away from home.😀

Also, I hope that Amazon reviewer who said it's incompatible with Windows 7 is an idiot.

Yup, that's the one. I think I paid $35 for it. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I thought it would be cool to read up on R&R history as it was being made, but I guess not cool enough for me to get started on it :^D

Went out for dinner the other night. For the wife and I, $105 + $10 valet. Regret.

Plenty of the stuff for our new apartment when we moved last year. Bought most on CC when we could have just waited a few months to acquire everything cash. Regretted the monthly interest payments, alone.

Regrets? I've had a few...but then again, too few to mention.
One of the best songs ever sung. But, you are showing your age by posting that. I think I even had a quote from that song in my sig for a while, one of the only sigs that I've ever put on ATOT.

watch out, nik is gonna come after you and call you an idiot for not admiring the atom's greatness! 😡

Unreal Tournament 3Playstation 3, twice
some clothes i never wear

Unreal Tournament 2003.

UT2004 was released soon after and was the definitive version for many years. Mine did not qualify for the upgrade deal.

Honestly, I can't think of anything.

Well, there is a block of cheese I bought a while back that I didn't get to finish before it went bad. But that's nothing compared to buying a 3DO.

ONS Torlan was the only map really worth playing, and it was included in the demo. I played that so much.
