My thoughts too. Unless they want to help with the payments. :p

NICE car - I am looking forward to the 2 door.

Once I get a few minutes, it's nothing more than a little decal.

Nice car man! I love that new CTS and would love to be able to afford one. I'd definitely take off that dealer sticker asap, I hate it when they put that sticker on there. Also, thats a neat looking license plate ;)

Damn nice.

How's the all wheel drive system feel to you? If you test drove the RWD model too, how do they compare?

I didn't drive a RWD CTS, but my last car was. I would say that it feels pretty balanced. It will drive like a RWD car, but never looses grip. I haven't turned off the traction control/Stabilitrak and pushed it hard so there is enough traction to keep me safe.

The G8 is a very nice car. Almost has a feel of a RWD V8 Mazda6. By that I mean, the handling feels tight, but has a lot of power. The interior is a lot closer to that of a Honda/Toyota than of any GM sans CTS. They both have a 6 speed auto which is a lot better than any auto that I've driven before. It's a shame that the G8 does not come in AWD or it would be a close competitor to the G35 and CTS.

not to rain on your parade OP but why is everyone all over the CTS' nuts?
it's extremely heavy, not particularly great on gas, not a great performer.
it's a good cruiser and the only thing it really has above the rest is that it's larger inside.

interior quality, IS350 and A4 has it beat.
driving dynamics, G35 and 335 has it beat.
power/speed, G35, 335, IS350 and TL has it beat.
Fuel economy, IS350 and TL has it beat.
Value for the $, G35 and TL has it beat.
Exterior looks are subjective so i won't go into that.

i know caddy has made great strides in this newest release but it's not the best at anything in its class. it's jsut merely avg to slightly above avg.
everyone here is praising it like it's the second coming, when it really isn't. it's kinda like cheering for the kid that's consistently finishing in last place, except this year he finished second to last.

but if you're happy with it OP, good for you.

Gee. If you were to put all the cars you mentioned in a box and shook it, you'd have your perfect car right there. :frown:

G35 sedan looks like ass, TL is just a Honda, the new A4 is meh at best all around (stands out at nothing) and IIRCS 335i runs a lot more than the caddy.

Why don't people value comfort but value weight? Its not like the guy bought his car to drag race. I saw someone at my gym tonite with a new g35 sedan and that thing looks UGLY.

Wow talk about an impulse buy. I would have to do a ton of research on a car before settling on it. Seeing it on the lot and test driving would just be a very early step. Grats though, it's a hot looking car with a nice interior.

This is simply not true. Time and time again you have spoken about this car and how in awe you are of it. Please, just admit that you want this car and the spectacular drive it provides. No one here will judge you at all if you come clean. This car simply is a splendor in the grass. Lets send positivism to the OP and let him engage in the greatness of this automobile.

Shhhh... don't say such things. He owns a BMW. The act of a BMW owner divulging the prospects of owning a GM vehicle is at least ten times worse than admiting to liking a Bangle design which in turn is twenty times worse than the Darfur crisis.

I spec'd one of these cars out trying to get it like the car I currently own (navi and all that fun stuff) and my god... they go up in price quickly . It'd probably cost me around 44k to get one that I like (AWD with Navi (so the highest package)).

LOL you must have the wrong guy. I've not once said anything about a CTS before this very thread.

I don't care about car manufacturers and who builds what. If the car is hot, it's hot - call me shallow. The one thing I will say in general though, is that Pontiac builds the worst looking cars known to man. I have no problems with GM or any other manu... is Pontiac GM? I think it is, pure coincidence though. BTW, I don't "own a BMW", I own an X5... the sweetest farking SUV (SAV)... and that's all I care about. Oh, it's built in America too.

$44k wow, you're like in BMW territory. might as well get a 3 series.
