my GF just called and told me our 11 week old puppy (1/2 Pomeranian 1/2 Pekignese) has just eaten ALL of a full months supply of Orthotrycyclin (sp?) .
She is calling the vet right now.
Oh man...I hope our puppy is ok.
UPDATE
They have told her to give the dog Hydrogen Peroxide to force her to puke it all up. My GF is administring the H.P. right now, and the puppy has already puked some stuff up.
UPDATE #2
The vet has told us that the Estrogen can cause blood problems (Anemia, etc.), and bone marrow problems.
They are giving her charcoal today, as well as issuing fluids via a catheter (sp?) to speed up the movement of the drug through her system.
We will hopefully get her back home tomorow. We will be watching for bruising or any other sign of blood problems. We will also have to get her blood count taken a few times over the next couple months to be sure she is OK.
The veterenarian seems to be extremely optimistic, so we are too.
