I was looking for a video I saw on Comcast that showed a guy stuffing a puppy down his pants and walking out of a pet store.
Well apparently, this isn't that uncommon these days. :|
In the one video the store owner says something about wanting to get the puppy back (well I'm sure I would want to get the puppy back as well) but I wonder if it's the puppy he wants back or the $1,600 he REALLY wants.
If you look at the stories linked to, you will see that MOST of these puppies are over $1000.00! I for one could NEVER see paying even CLOSE to that amount for a puppy! And MUTTS seem to ME the be better dogs anyway, and can be had for little or nothing through a local paper or the Animal Shelter.
As far as the people taking these pups, do you think they are doing it for the companionship or the money they can get re selling the puppy?
If they REALLY want the dog and can't afford it, well that's ONE thing, and if caught I would take that into consideration, but if they are doing to to SELL them, :| then I say prosecute to the FULL extent of the LAW!!!
