Check out my new Boston Terrier. She is ~3 weeks old, and I hopefully get to take her home in about 10 days.

We had one when I was a kid. They are great dogs, but it's snoring would rattle the windows. He would also let loose with absolutely horrible smelling farts.

I think you are squeezing it's neck too tight. Poor things eyes are bugging out of it's head.

j/k

Bostons are fun little dogs. Can be very high engergy though until they mellow out later in their life.

I heard you shouldn't take a puppy away from its mother and littermates until it's at least 6-8 weeks old, so it can be socialized, learn bite inhibition properly, etc. plus you can tell if the dog is an r-tard or not by then.

oh, yeah...I didn't even catch that. A puppy should not be taken from the mother until a MINIMUM of 6 weeks. 8 is better. They need to be weaned off milk and they need to feed from the mother until at least 6 weeks.

My mom was a registered Boston Terrier breeder when I was a child, 40+years ago.
No pup should be seperated from it's litter-mates or bitch before it is 6~8 weeks old.
YOU ARE A SELF CENTERED FOOL TO BRING IT HOME SOONER. If the breeder permits
you to bring it home at 4 weeks...The breeder is crap!
That pups eyes look cloudy, have a vet look the dog over before money changes hands.

Thanks for the advice, GalvanizedYankee and the rest.

To be exact, the Puppies finished their 3rd week on 12/7. The breeder seemed to think she would be fine to come home at the end of week 5 (12/21). Should I press her to keep the puppy for a bit longer? I felt like I could trust the breeders judgement. Maybe I was wrong.

I will definitely be taking the puppy to my local vet on pick-up day. If there is a problem, I will simply void my check and return the puppy.
