Punched in the face for the 3rd time by psycho Ex

Went out to dinner for the first time in a few months, everything was fine until I got a call on the way home. I started talking to my friend when someone pulled a bizarre illegal U-turn in the middle of a lane of a shopping center. My ex started screaming at me and took my phone. I asked, "if it was anyone else would you be reacting this way to them talking on the phone while driving?"

Her response, "No, only a stupid son of a bitch like you could make me this angry."

Things escalated until she punched me in my eye while driving around 50 mph. I stopped the car and was about to kick her out, but realized my only chance of recovering the $300 she owed me was if I played it cool. I ended up taking her home. I also almost called the police for assault but realized all she would have to do is rake her own face with her nails (something she would do) and I would be the one going to jail.

Men have no protection or right in today's society...

You're right that guys have nothing anymore. As a guy that is moving out after 13 yrs of marriage (moving in 1 week).............if you're having issues like this..............why in the hell did you go out to dinner? Let alone in the same car? Now that's not to say if it was a birthday gathering or something that I would go out with the kids and the ex. But for me, this is a very amicable ending.
