It had some great parts but over all I think it was over rated. If they cut out the Bruce Willis character entirely and the random squeel like a pig part I would rank it higher.

Great movie due to the fact that they DIDN'T cut scenes like that. It wasn't some compressed hour-and-a-half action crap that is usually cranked out. No offense to fans of those many, many movies.

I don't like those kind of movies either. In fact I don't like most movies in general. LOL

I think Kill Bill Vol 1&2 were way overhyped and short on the goods...but Pulp Fictin...I mean..c'mon...that is one of the best movies ever.

If all you have seen is bits and pieces on regular TV...than I would argue you have never seen it.

Overrated by whom? From what I heard, it did horrible in the theaters and got popular on VHS/DVD by word of mouth from people that liked the movie. I personally don't think you can label a movie as overrated if the average Joe Schmo genuinely liked it and that's how it got popular.

Now if it was hyped by critics, who are paid to review it, or by lots of ads and commercials hyping it, or by someone who shelled out $10 in the theater to see it, then I guess it can be considered overrated.

Overrated because so many people seem to drool over it as if it were some sort of cinematic Sistine celing. It's a great movie, but I don't see why so many people are so in love with it.

Lots of people love The Goonies, but few people fall all over themselves quoting it every chance they get as they do with an overrated great movie like Pulp Fiction.

Great Movie cant wait for the prequel

PREQUEL?? WHAT??!!

Im like 90% sure they said they were making a prequel

I believe they are. It is to revolve around teh Vega brothers, one from PF and the other from Resevoir Dogs. Personally, I didn't really like the movie, but the dialog was excellent.

I had to watch it 6 times before i could say i liked it. The only scenes i think were stupid was when they showed the young kid and the air force officer giving him his dads gold watch and the story behind it. It just doesnt fit and takes away from the movie. The part should be there but should have done it differently.

WTF, what was one of the funniest parts of the whole movie and it COMPLETELY ties in with the movie. Butch had to go back to his apartment to get the watch and as a result of that, he mows down Vincent who was there to whack him and he runs into Ving Rhames.

Maybe you need to watch the movie a SEVENTH time :D
