Pulling hair out, cant get gf3 tv-out to work

I have an msi gf3 ti500 and i cant get this darned tv-out to work, i tried the latest 29.42 and 30.82 drivers from nvidia and even the 30.00 drivers(i have win2k) from msi and the tv-out section is still greyed out in Device Selection.
I tried tv tool 6.8 but that didnt work either, i played around with all the settings, changed my res down to 640x480 and others and that didnt work. I tried another spare s-video to rca cable that i had and still no luck.
I even followed this tip from msi themselves.... nothing :|

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I think you need the WDM drivers if you haven't gotten them already. They can be downloaded here, on the Downloads page; it'll be on the left, nVidia WDM 1.19.

Nope they didnt work, and msi isnt answering my email. This sucks

Oh, duh. TV-OUT. I was thinking TV-in.

And I was about to suggest what MSI said about connecting the TV first, then hitting the Detect Displays thing. Hmm...sorry I couldn't help more.
