Ok, I did it :)

Here's what I purchased:
[*] Enermax EXCA3052 Chakra case
[*] Intel BadAxe2
[*] eVGA 8800GTX
[*] Corsair 620Watt power supply
[*] Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
[*] G.Skill 2G (2x1GB) F2-6400PHU2 memory
[*] WD800JD Sata2 80GB drive for Vista Ultimate
[*] Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB drive for Games & Development
[*] HP940Vi LightScribe DVD Burner
[*] Zalman CNPS 9700 cooler

Total: $1,873

Thank you to everyone that helped. Also, special thanks to moosey to helped a great deal. Also, thanks to skott and acivick who helped without realizing when they made sure that the Zalman 9700 and 8800GTX fit inside the Enermax case. :)

Time to relax and wait for NewEgg to deliver my parts...

sighhhhh

One question. Do I need paste for the Zalman cooler? Does it come with it, or do I need to buy it separately?

The Zalman comes with paste, I had the 9500AT.

Edit: Good luck w/ your build as well, you've got a real nice looking system. Congrats

While you didn't ask for opinions, figured I'd give mine anyway <gr>

- Cases are subjective for the most part
- You'll love the BX2
- You'll love the eVGA GTX
- You'll love the HX620
- You'll love the E6600
- Never used G.Skill but hear good and bad things about it just like any other RAM including my Corsair (I'm guessing you'll love it).
- I like Seagate primarily because of the warranty but my other fav is WD.
- Barracuda, you'll love it
- I had issues with my HP740 Lightscribe but my LG Lightscribe works great (probably an issue with my particular drive)
- I settled for a Thermaltake Big Typhoon but many are using the Zalman 9700/9500s with great success (and Lord knows they don't weigh as much)...

So, in summary, since we know that you are gonna' love everything you got and have a kickin' rig how the crap can you "relax" waiting for it to be delivered!!!! I'd be camped on my front porch!

Congrats on what looks to be a great rig...

LOL :D I have pummeled this site with nagging, obsessive, irrational queries relentlessly for the past week! Where have you been?!?!?!?! LOL

Hey, thanks for your opinions. I like LG, I have their phone, the flip version of the chocolate. I will see how this verison of the HP works out...

Thanks again...
