PULLED: POSSIBLE VENDOR FRAUD

There are some questionable claims to orders made by Anandtech members. I'm pulling the post for precautionary measures.

<< Deeamn, ONLY $57!?! That's freakin cheap. What brand is it? >>

The brand is Generic. Nothing really confirmed. All we have is that the RAM performs very well if your Motherboard supports it. Almost all new VIA chipsets designed for AMD will support this RAM.

Is Migrate Zone reputable? I saw a few other posts on some of their stuff, but can't find ratings for them at resellerratings.com. Their shipping's $11 though. Hrm..

haha..2 and 3-day UPS shipping is only a few extra bucks.

Ok, stop asking a question that nobody can answer. The question is out there. If you can answer, reply.

It's a chance, call the damn numbers I posted. Ask them yourself. It is unlikely you will find anyone that has purchased from them before.

Can these "high sensity" ram work with regular ram like Infineon, Mushkin, Tiny BGA etc?

What do you mean this is VCM? Does that mean it's not normal SDR RAM? Sounds like this should work on Athlon boards but probably not Intel boards, right? If anyone can figure out what chips these sticks use please post it here...

Hi all!!! I just purchased from Migrate zone this week. I bought a matched pair of PIII's... THEY ARE GREAT!!!

Let me explain...

There was a problem with my order initailly... I ordered 2 MATCHED procs... I called a day later when they were to ship out to make sure they were MATCHED.... Luckily, I caught it in time... They were NOT matched and packed to go out.

RESOLUTION: With no hassle and a friendly csr, she immediately put me on the phone with her supervisor who personally (after leaving me on hold for 5 minutes), got my package (which I already had a tracking number for), off of the pickup dock, personally retrieved the correct chips, packed em back up and had them out that day!

He was soooooo sorry that happened to me! He even waived the matched stepping selection fee of $10.00 for me without me even saying anything.

I was very satisfied with the whole transaction and my chips came 2 days later as promised.

Another csr even called me back later on to let me know all was well and underway.

I highly recomment them... Hope this helps and good luck!

One more thing... I have the managers direct line and full name in case you do run into any trouble at all. PM me ONLY if you need it.

NeutronUSA.com has a similar offer for $51.00 plus the normal outrageous shipping cost that these low cost dealers often have.

Will this RAM chip work in the Gateway 6400 Server??? If so, this would be a pretty good way to upgrade that...

Someone who knows, please post.

Excellent. It's good to read a post from an Anander that has experience with Migrate Zone. This will be my first purchase with them. I'll pick up 2 sticks to start. Since I have all AMD CPUs and VIA motherboards, this RAM should serve its purpose nicely.

Thanks for the hook-up.

I haven't done the legwork to confirm this, but I think MigrateZone might be affiliated with UpgradeZone, which is also here in nothern Virgina. Kinda like UpgradeZone having two web sites and are now adding a third with MigrateZone.

Just a thought ... not trying to cause trouble. I've had a co-wokrer order RAM from UpgradeZone and the transaction went well.
