Pulled into Sonic last night

I was getting a Sonic Blast, with M&Ms of course.
And I pulled up to the window, where I was greeting by a young man of about 20. May'be a bit younger. He tells me my total, and I give him the money.
Then he tells me he likes my car (1988 Firdbird 305, V8, new Bright Red paint). He also tells me he used to have one just like it, and it was pretty fast. I said, "That's cool. Was it a 305?" "305?" he replied. "The engine, was it a 305?" I said.
"Huh?" he answered. "Was it a V6 or a V8?" I asked. He just stared at me with this confused blank look on his face. "V6? What do you mean?" I didn't answer his question. Then he asked me how fast it was. I told him it could run high 14s in the 1/4 mile. He just looked at me like I was a moron. I could hear the gears in his head abruptly stop turning. He truely didn't understand what I was saying.
He handed me my Sonic Blast and I left. Sonic Blast was nasty.

Cliff Notes:

1. The itching hasn't stopped.
2. I rubbed some cream on it.
3. It wasn't cream, it was ben-gay.
4. The burning and the itching haven't stopped.

I had no idea people complimented 1988 Firebirds.

Me neither!
But I do live in Texas. I get alot of comments.

Well I live in Texas, and I don't think I'd ever compliment a 1988 Firebird. 😉

I also wasn't wearing any pants and had a massive erection.
There I said it. Are you happy?

Never said my car was fast. In fact, alot of new four door sedans coming out these days have more horsepower and are faster.
The car cost me 1k.
That's what I like about it. No car payments and low insurance.

Reminds me of a conversation I had w/a Boxster owner a few years ago.

Him That your car you pulled up in?
Me (Wonders who else it might belong to) Yeah, sure is
Him Yeah I got a Boxster...a Porsche

I nod...awkward silence

Him Yeah, I actually used to have an S2000. Not enough power
Me (The word "assclown" pops into my head) Some people say that about the lower version but not the faster one. Did you have the 2.3 liter or the 3.2 liter?
Him (doesn't skip a beat) Yeah, I had the 3.2 liter

I smiled, sat down, and ate my scone
