Anyone that is honestly excited about the war is sadly mistaken, and most likely not ever been in the service whatsoever. Remember this: Even if we take minimal casualties, that still means thousands of US troops are going to lose their lives for the cause. What if one of them was your dad, or brother, or uncle? How would you feel to recieve the visit from their CO delivering the message that they died in combat, that he only thing you'll ever see of them again is the flag they draped over his coffin when he was buried? Still excited abotu the war?
It's okay, he can't actually be forced to think about anything beyond what happens on his television set. It's all he's capable of.![]()
I hope he learns from his mistakes.
