Public restroom sinks - clean or not?

Wow. Some of you need to lighten up. Or get better immune systems.

I park my ass right on the seat of the restrooms at work (After a quick visual inspection). I dont have a problem drinking tap water, and I dont see why washing your face would be such a big deal. Using paper towels to open doors?

I dont get it.. maybe I just have a really good immune system or something against common illnesses, because I hardly ever get sick (maybe one brief cold a year), and I never take any precautions at public places.

I wouldn't advocate putting your mouth to it, but unless someone has been shoving faeces up there with some diligence immediately before you turned the tap on, the the water that comes out is EXACTLY the same as any other tap connected to the mains :p
