Public golf courses in NY metro area?

I just moved up to Bayonne, NJ and was looking for some golf courses to try. I found the nycteetimes.com site, and the staten island courses look nice, but im also looking for some in jersey. What public courses are good in the area?
 
There is one in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. It's somewhere along 86th streeth, between 10th and 15th ave. Other than that... I don't know 😛
 
if you are in Bayonne check out the staten island courses. I live about 5 blocks from Silver Lake, I think there are more public courses on SI, but not too sure.

Bayonne bridge is probably 15 minutes from silverlake if that.
 
There is a municipal course in Newark that I heard isn't tooooo bad. The two public courses in the Bronx I have played blow donkey balls.
