+1 internets for Dennis Hopper reference in a Hal9k thread.

I like the trivia game at the local bar, they give away $50 bar tabs to the winning team, and the questions are usually pretty cool. One memorable one was "What was the 'Long Max' or 'L45 Max' in the first world war?"
 
I'm going to chess club tonight. When the library kicks us out the kids will go home and the adults will move to a pub and continue playing blitz until 1am or so.

Tuesday nights are trivia night at the campus bar here. I've only been to it once, last week. Mostly just current events and 90s pop culture.

you go to pub. there are teams. the teams compete over a certain number of rounds. There are questions and such.

this is not difficult. It's been going on well over a decade, and they are quite ubiquitous.

fuck, even neckbeard has heard of them.
