i dont even know how to say it, but what do you call the difference between:

A. a person who feels this world is their life

and

B. a person who feels their life is in this world.

i know there are plenty of people who feel a little of both, but i find it more often then not everyone is one or the other.

what is this called? im sure it has a name... i just cant think of it.

no im talking about self reflection. take alcholics as an example i guess.. most of the time they just go through life as they need to, completely impassionate to others. i know people like this though who dont even drink... maybe the term im looking for is assholes, i dunno...

In which case, google 'schizoid.' No, it's doesn't mean you hear voices. It's simply a high degree of internalized thought that often results in diagnosis of other things like 'avoidant personality disorder.' It is not treatable...unless you want to be a retard.

Seriously- I've taken antipsychotics for 'off-label' (or even indicated) uses not at all related to the 'schizo-' group of disorders. And they have the 'side-effect' of destroying the internal processes that lead to most of my positive traits.

This is my theory about most everyone I encounter blocking isles at the grocery store or driving slow a half mile before my exit. Once the opportunity to bother me has passed, they simple cease to exist, their purpose in the universe fulfilled. At the opposite end are super-annoying folks that you just know from the moment you meet them are destined to part of your life for decades to come.

I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at but the term "Solipsism" comes to mind. It's essentially the belief that the world only exists in one's mind and everything perceived outside of mind doesn't exist as real.
