PSX Emulator Problem

First off, I wish to again, thank the previous posters who helped solve my first emulator problem.

Now, I have found out how to get the games to run correctly on the ePSXe and I also downloaded the PSX Emulator; so getting the games to run isn't an issue anymore. Both emulators run the .ccd and .img files perfectly. I now have a problem with three certain games I am trying to play on both emulators - both of which seem to produce the same graphical glitch.

The three games I am trying to play are Star Ocean 2: The Second Story, Valkyrie Profile, and Parasite Eve 2. The graphical glitches are more prominent and more noticeable with Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean 2 but still noticeable with Parasite Eve 2. The glitch is that the graphic animations will stop until a new animation starts. The best example would be with a spell in Star Ocean 2 where the casting graphics completely stop until the spell animation starts - or with Valkyrie Profile - towards the end of an attack, or directly after, the graphics will stop until the enemy starts their attack. On both games, the graphics will start again during the end of the spell where the damage is displayed (or near the end of the longer spells) with SO2 and when the enemy are moments before attacking me or when they attack me on VP.

When I was first having trouble with my ePSXe and getting games to run, I remember seeing some sort of option about graphics with SO2, VP, and some other game(s) when trying to configure the graphics plugin. The current plugin that I am using - the only one that works - does not have that option which (supposedly) fixes these graphical glitches.

So far, this glitch has not been a burden with my games other than allowing the enemy to get a few free hits on me every now and then.

**Side Note**
Just to clarify, I do own every game I am trying to play so nothing illegal is taking place, if anyone was wondering. Also, this glitch does not occur all the time, just occasionally. Not enough to completely hamper the game from being played, but enough times to severely annoy me - especially with Parasite Eve 2.

I'm using Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76 plug-in and i don't have that exact problems, but there are issues with glitches in most emulators. And because of all these issues the only emulators i ever play are 16-bit/8-bit ones.

Also just a warning, others really don't like emulation talk here :(

So I have seen. But, I need help and I shall ask for it. If someone doesn't like what I ask, they are free to flame me over it. Conversely, I am free to ignore their posts.

Anyways, I am going to continue my game on the PSX Emulator which, from what I have read on other forums, does not contain a solution to this error. I can deal with it for VP and SO2, but for PE2, it can have a devastating effect if I get hit by the wrong enemy. Also, with it happening so frequently and some of the boss battles lasting upwards of 10 minutes, it could be fairly detrimental to my progress.

Anyone else have a possible solution? With the ePSXe using plugins, I am almost positive that there should be some plugin somewhere that will fix this problem. As far as the PSX Emulator goes, I may just have to live with it for the moment. That is, unless someone knows of a fix for that one as well.

Oh, and just out of sheer curiosity, why do people not like talking about emulators? I see no problem with them since I own every console I have an emulator for and I own every game I have a ROM or ISO of. They are a convenient way to play the games you already own without the clutter of the game cases. Most of us are in dorm rooms or apartments which are not that big - we need all the space we can get.
