PSU's cable length question

I am going to buy an antec p180 case and I'm interested in buying one of these psu's. Is the seasonc s12 in particular has longer or long enough cables that can reach the components in the p180? Or would the coolergiant work? Please reply.
 
I have a seasonic s12 500 and the cables were definitely too short for my Temjin tj06 case. Granted the TJ6 is larger than the p180, but the layouts are similar in that the powersupply is positioned differently from a standard atx case. I ended up getting a 24 to 24 pin extension and has to run a 4 pin extension from another molex instead of the dedicated 4pin because it was too short. Dont get me wrong though...the seasonic has been practically silent and works great.

try to find out how long the coolergiant cables are, if extensions are something you dont want to deal with.
 
To get longer cables, do you have to get extensions or can you just buy longer cables seprately, and if so, what do you buy?
 
I just ran into this issue last night, the 24 pin cable in my Antec SmartPower 2.0 was too short to reach the connector on the Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra motherboard after I mounted it in my P180 case. Went to a local shop and talked to a guy who had the exact same problem with a different case where the power supply mounts at the bottom. He said he found the 24 pin to 24 pin extension on Newegg...I searched quick but didn't find it, then had to go to the bar. A buddy of mine found it though....

Update: I called Antec customer support just for the heck of it, they seemed surprised to hear that their own PS in their own case wouldn't reach. They did offer to send me a 24 pin to 24 pin extension, the guy said he thought it was about 6 inches long. I'll post back with a cost when I know more.
