Psu

I've had no personal experience with this particular PSU but from what I have heard Forton does make good supplies.

However, I recommend PC Power and Coolings Silencer model which is 470W at $100. You will not regret it, PCP&C makes some of the best (if not the best) PSUs on the market.

Linkage.

And BTW, welcome to the forums 🙂.

Thats new! I hadn't checked that site in 3 weeks, last time I was there it was the only Make listed. The one thing about PC Power and Cooling is the warrenty it's 5years vs. 1-3 for the competition. That saysa lot about the quality of this thing. Weight is another way to judge the qualty of a PSU and the PC Power and Cooling Turbo Cool 300ATX PFC weighs almost Twice as much as an Antec 430 or an Enermax 500!

If you got one of these you probably would not need another PSU for 10-12 Years. And don't worry about the connections getting old or useless, PC Power and Cooling can and Will upgrade any of their PSU's to what ever the latest requirements are, Plus they can add custom options at any time like a switced 120v outlet to turn on your water pump and peltier when the PC is turned on. But with 850-950 watts at your disposal, you could run DC motors (as opposed to AC) those off the 12v line with very little trouble. And you probably would not need a dedicated PSU for your peltier like most kits require, in the end PC Power and Cooling saves you money.
