Hello, this is my first time building a computer, and I just built one using antec earthwatt 500, is there tools (software or physical tools like a meter or something) that I can buy to test how stable the different rails are, or simply any tools that can tell me how well the PSU is working?
I don't really know what I'm asking for, but I saw on some of the reviews, people cited for example rails staying within specified range as pluses (which is obvious i guess), so they must be able to somehow measure it with something, I'd like to get the something if it's not too difficult for a newbie to operate
.
Thanks
P.S. I saw the kill-a-watt meter on newegg, but that doesn't seem too helpful since it just measures the overall power being drawn from the wall right..
