First of all I am sorry if this has been asked a thousand times...but...What would be a good site for psu reviews and comparisons? I am not up to par with the more reputable review sites out there?

Try the forums there, Seasonic is popular with them. Search there worked better than here last time I tried it.

I should be getting the 500 watt version tomorrow for my new system, to power a single 7900GTX and A64 4200+.

actually I plan on going bigger in the monitor area in a couple of months.. and I dont even have the 2 7900 GTX's yet.. I am in queue for the first GTX Superclocked in EVGA's step-up program atm then I will get the second for sli when they are easier to find. I like to look ahead about my possible up-grades and get as much info "before" I decide to buy them.

P.S. I am already researching my monitor choices...lol

for all we know in a couple of months you will be able to get a single gpu that is more than 2x faster than a 7900gtx....months is like decades in computers, especially if you are an early adopter.

but i do understand the step up program...

n7.. do you have any problems with your 520 watt psu running all the hard drives and optical drives on your pc along with a 512mb graphics card?

I agree with you bob..but I am getting close to maximizing my mobo's potential.. really thats what I am in the process of.. get this rig maxed and wait a year or so and then jump on whatever the current technology is when I am ready to sell or part out this system.

Actually yes.

I didn't plan on running everything off this Modstream with it's meager 28A 12V rail.

It dips way too low on the 12V rail frankly; i'm lucky i don't get instability.

It'd be running off a 700W FSP, but i the first one died on me, so i'm waiting on a replacement.
