PSU replacement question

I am replacing a psu for the first time, and my common sense seems to escape me. So i was wondering when you replace the psu does it wipe out all your hd and memory?
 
No.

I've done this plenty of times with no problems. If you still worry, you might backup your important files for peace of mind, but changing the PSU will have no effect at all on any of your data.
