PSU recommendation w/ mobo?

I'm looking for a recommendation on a new psu for my new rig.

Currently i'm looking to get:
C2D e6600
asus p5w dh deluxe
evga 7950gt
Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB
1 sata hd
1 dvd burner
1 dvd-rom

Currently thinking about this psu:

Any comments or recommend something better?

That one will work just fine. I'd rather have this one: PC P&C 610 watt or this one: Corsair HX620

Is an SLI ready psu really necessary or is that just a marketing scheme?

SLI means nothing. But, there have already been reports of people with the psu you linked having to upgrade, when they changed to an 8800GTX video card. It's only got 18A on each 12v rail, and they can't combine, like the Corsair's 12v rails can. And the PC P&C that I linked you to only has one 12v rail, but it's 49A continuous.

alright looks like i'm gonna go with the PC P&C 610... anyone know where i can get one for the best price? Outpost seems to be cheaper then newegg...

If you won't be running SLI then you don't need anywhere near 600 watt PSU.

I would suggest the 380 watt Seasonic S12.
