heh if it's a silent purepower, it should have come with two potentiometers (one for front and one for back). Hook up one of these potentiometers to the PSU (there's a connector for it) and make sure the dial is turned all the way to the right. I have a PurePower and while I haven't tried it, I don't think these fans can run without the dials. Errr...and don't run the PC with the PSU fans off. Just get the psu fans working.

I put a 320W silent purepower in my little bro's PC. Those fans do run slow, but they don't ever stop. It's a fairly quiet PSU, for being such a mass-market PSU.

Looked at box, description on NewEgg, and for any possible connections for pots, but I see nothing. Certainly nothing included in box. RMA time?

wait wait wait. I just realized my PSU came with the potentiometers cause it's a Silent PurePower Xaser III edition (whew long name). I think the potentiometers are specific to this type of power supply. If you RMA expecting the pots, you won't get them. As far as the fans, make sure there isn't any fan adjuster included. If there isn't RMA to newegg telling them the fans aren't working.

Man, if I had a powersupply that didn't crash, and ran totally silent, I'd be all over it. Even if it burned itself up every 3 or 4 months, those things are only like $50!
