PSU Question

Hey,

I'm new to building computers so excuse the 'noobiness'. Anyway, I installed my PSU, but on the back, there's a little red switch thing with two numbers. What should I keep it on? It has 115 and 230. I don't want to screw anything up on my machine 😛

Thanks

USA is 115V and britain is 230V. Wait for somone to CONFIRM this though. I blew up a PSU once because i set it to 115... it physically went bang with a white flash and very loud noice.

RFM. The manual with the PSU should tell you.

Looking at manual for Antec 1088AMG case w/TP 480 PSU. It indicates 115V.

Yep. Pretty simple really. It's just the difference between common house voltage in the US or not in the US. Just like gas or petro, gallons or litres, miles per hour or kilometers per hour. Where are you located?
