PSU question

I am wondering if my psu is OK? I have no real problems I can recall except when I run F@H overnight,
it will lock up. Havent really tried to find out why yet. Is the 12v value suppose to read around 12v?
This is what Sissoftware's Sandra tells me my values are for my power supply and
Everest Home Edition are pretty similar:

Voltage Sensor(s)
CPU Voltage : 1.58V
Aux Voltage : 1.50V
+3.3V Voltage : 1.58V
+5V Voltage : 4.92V
+12V Voltage : 9.42V
-12V Voltage : -12.03V
-5V Voltage : -6.96V
Standby Voltage : 4.51V
Battery Voltage : 3.09V

This is what is in my system: no overclocking

Epox 8KDA3J, AMD64 2800+ stock HSF
MSI Radeon 9800Pro
1 WD 7200rpm HD 80gb
1 DVD Drive, just a reader
1 Floppy
5 80mm case fans on a bus as I am tring to get find the right combo for the sweatbox I live in.
Antec Smart Power 350w

Thanks

Some of those values are obscenely low IMO. You may not notice any real problems but your computer is suffering. Not getting the proper amount of voltage will damage components slowly. Get a new PSU, and make sure it is a good one.

Ok, so I go and get a multi-meter to see wtf is up with the psu.

Computer running:

I use a molex that is free and stick the probes in

DC Voltage = 11.9 yellow and black
DC Voltage = 5.0 Red and black
DC Voltage = 6.9 yellow and red

I unplug the DVD drive and test that molex and get the same numbers.

Should I still be questioning the psu or something else now?

???

Stick the leads into the mobo molex, with the computer running, and test there.
Orange/black = 3.3; Red/Black = 5v; Yellow/Black = 12v.
The psu is probably ok, if you don't screw it up while testing. 🙂
