hello,

Iwas just wondering which psu is better.I currently haver the Antec Neopower 480.I have been a little
dissapointed with it's 12+ volt rail. It usually reads under 12 volts, around11.78-11.85. My other antecs usually are right on the money.

So I was reading some reviews one the ocz powerstream psu. It looks like a very good power supply!.So I'm thinking about getting the OCZ. If anyone has any comments or suggestions it would be very helpful!

They are both great psu's. The OCZ is probably one of the best psu's. But if you like your case neat without working with the cables than keep the neopower. 🙂 My antec psu is reading a little low on the +12v line also. Hey if you dont want the neopower i'll take it off your hands 😉
 
lol! Yeah the neopower is nice , ive had it for about two months now with out a hitch,but for me stability is everything on a powersupply. the powerstream has a very strong 12+ rail, about 32 or 36 amps.
So it's a hard call .I've always had good stability with my other antecs so I was just wondering if it was something wrong with the neopwers😕
 
I think a alot of people are being mislead by their BIOS readings of voltages level, not only that. They are never going to be exactly what they are suppose to be at.
 
O.K.. well i guess i'll stick with the neopower for now.I love the cable management ,alot less cluter in the case,but when something really sweet comes out like the ocz powerstream I need something to justify the upgrade lol! but thanx for advice🙂
 
The only thing that keeps me from buying the OCZ is the lights, I don't really feel the need to rice out my computer. I can do that myself and the modular cable system is a huge plus IMHO..
 
arswihart, No i haven't had and problems with the neopower,It's just the 12+ rail is always low. granted its not alot low but it bugs me. If it wasn't for that I would say it's the nicest power supply I've had.

I hope Antec changes this in newer ones!!

Tabb, I agree with you about the lights,But other than that ,what I have heard in reviews the powerstream is a very good psu. I was hoping that someone who already owns one could comment on it to see if all the hype is justified, or just hype.
