Well Ive been getting a few BSOD's while playing bf2, Ive heard that a psu can give these problems while playing a graphics heavy game, since the psu might not give enough juice during the game. Would my psu be giving me any problems??

I thought the computer just turns off when the PSU can't handle it, I could be wrong though.

The X-Connect isn't exactly a quality PSU but the only way to be sure is to try a different one.
