PSU Poll

Thanks Matthias you certainly made my choice a lot easier to make 😉

I'm trying to oc an 939 3000+ to the max and wondering if that would be enough. Anyone think I should buy a xp-90 + fan if I want to go all the way?

Where is the Sparkle single +12 rail 550 Watter - that's my choice. But for most people, the XClio 450 would be more than adequate for under $60. shipped...

this is a pretty close call... 😵 im guessing its cuz they're all quality psus so i guess it really boils down to what i want to pick...no?

So you're saying with this rig Ribbon13:

DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D
eVGA 6800GT
Audigy 2 ZS; Sennheiser PC150
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket 939 Venice core (When it comes 4/4)
Lian-Li PC-7B Plus
Seagate Barracuda
Twinmos 512X2 Windbond UTT (Hopefully)
Thermalright XP-90 + Arctic Silver 5

I will be able to overclock it to its full potential with a divider with that Seasonic S12 430?

EDIT: You're free to make suggestions on the rig while you're at it 😉

If your willing to spend the bucks the Seasonic S12 430 watter is the way to go, it's dead silent, extremly efficent, and has solid raitings on its rails.

Yes I've researched a little more and it seems the efficiency and noise are number 1 (good) when it comes to the Seasonic S12. The Antec Neopower 480 cables did look tempting though
