Hello, i am thinking of building a new pc! I used an online psu calculator and it says the new build will consume 600Watts! I found a 650 psu with 85% efficiency.
I have found how the efficiency works, and if i am correctly, according to these numbers my psu will draw about 700Watts, converting 100 wats to heat or something. Does that mean i will need more than 700 psu? or is there something i have missed?
EDIT: Another calculator says minumum PSU wattage 594, and recommended 644!
Here are the components, it might help you help me!
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX+
8Gb DDR3 Ram
Amd fx 8320, 8 core, 3,5GHZ
Gigabyte 970A-D3
One regular sata and one Dvd-RW
